Default My Son's Durango

This is very difficult.....My son bought this in 2007. He was so proud! My response (dad) was a bit harsh....."gonna need a fuel truck". Had a little work done to it & wheels & tires. He loved his D-Go. Big boys = Big Toys.
Well, Aug. of '09 he was killed by drunk driver as a pedestrian in the defence of a young woman.
We stored it for 6-8 months. It still had issues, 1200.00 to repair at a shop. As the mother of my grandchildren had need of a vehical, it came to PaPa's for repairs. After 3-4 weeks and a few $'s, it was back home. Hence how I came to find this web site. Thanks to everyone!
Well, as it turned out. It was difficult for her to be able to raise the youngins, school.....etc. $
My sons D-Go is in the driveway now. Has been tough to see daily, not to mention working on it. Will be putting it back on the road this spring....
His style & 'ol Dad's is a bit different. He put 22" Am. Racing wheels on it. I have bought a set of orig. wheels for it with some decent tires for now.
Thinking of selling the wheels/tires.....as the car my daughter-in-law has now needs a tranny. If interested jjracing_140@hotmail.com
Thanks to all,
Jim
