i could be wrong, but to my knowledge the 4.7 does not have an msd ignition available bc they would need to sell you 8 coil packs, althought widow is 100% correct that the system gives him a better burn, in your situation josh, the tuner is your best bet for gains

 

MSD does not make a performance replacement coil pack for the 4.7L motors. In fact, I know of no place that does?

Yeah she doesn't like going fast especially when I get up on it like that. She likes driving her little Taurus and hates riding in my "loud obnoxious race car" as she calls it.

I tell her it's a "Dodge Owner Pride". LOL

I have one! A 2004 Taurus with a 3.0L DOHC Sport version! I drive her like a race car but she can't handle those turns like my olde Durango could!

Not gunna stop you, but I'm gunna add that my older 1997 took a shot from the back end stopped at 55 mph by a 3/4 ton chev 4X4 and ended up under a a olds van squished like a dog turd and after all we all walked away! The frame of the car ended up like a figure 8 pretzel and hit it so hart it knocked it OFF THE FRAME!


We went out and bought the same exact car in an different color! 1997 and everything!!!!! If it can take that kinda shot, sign me up! I love the roomyness and comfort of mine.

Yeah we have a 99 Taurus. It's our first one but I can't complain she drives like a grandma and it gets great MPGs. It's the only Ford you'll EVER catch me driving though. I just have experienced bad things with Ford (except the Taurus) and seen great things out of Dodge.

It was her birthday present and she really wanted a Taurus so she got a Taurus. If it were me I'd have gotten her a Neon SRT-4 LOL.
