Default Front Tow Hooks

I know this problem has been talked about all over the internet, but for some reason i still can't find anyone with a solution..

so i ask you fellow durango owners..

has anyone found a reliable set of tow hooks (or a way to install another manufacturers hook) for the front of a first gen Durango?

This is what I am getting installed on mine and just get a pintol/hook combo hitch for it.

bummer, i was hoping to not have to install a front hitch.. otherwise why would i not just throw a brush guard on the front?

basically, i was looking to just bolt up a pair of these

seems like that is not an option without some custom fab work to make some brackets?

Well you could bolt up to the frame and do a weld job for added security going that direction with things. IMO a front mounted hitch is much more useful and will be way more sturdy than a hook bolted to the frame.

Check this thread out, he ended up doing the same thing you're wanting to do...
