Well eBay has some black grilles for like 35 bucks. Like you guys said, that's probably the easiest way. But now that I think about it, I kinda like the chrome look. I want to get a Westin Bull Bar or Grille Guard so idk if that would be too much black on the nose.

What's nice with the black ones is you just put some coats of red paint that matches your truck to have a clean looking appearance if you don't want chrome.

Damm it Mopar Man...you beat me to ebay. I spent three hours......well 5 minutes.....but it sounded good... you will take this link and like it. With the money save you can get that stripper.... If your married or something just keep her on ice till about mid April my Birthday is then.

My 98 D stock has the grille painted red. It looks pretty clean as stated above. Also you'll be surprised at how good you can make spray paint work if you're planning on using it, the trick is to paint stuff from the top down, if that makes any sense, if you paint something sideways it will start to run and be uneven, unless you do like 20 very light coats.

Black would look better than chrome in my opinion, mostly because nothing else is chrome. If you wanted to go with spray paint I would think black would be a very easy color to work with as long as you do all the prep work correctly and take your time with it.
