I have a 2002 SLT that has a strange hot smell after running it. Can't tell if it smell like antifreeze or what. Levels look OK and the guage doesn't show it overheating. It is coming from the driver side. I know they are completely different locations, etc....but could it be the brakes? They dust the wheels horribly. Anyway, the hot smell is noticable every time we drive it and pull it back into the garage.

Any thoughts?

 

I've noticed that with my '98 quite a few times. Let me know if you find anything out.
