Default ABS not working?

Ive had my D for about 2 years and the ABS has never worked. I probably should has asked about this after i first got it but i havent need the ABS but i would like to fix it now so im just wondering if anyone has any ideas on why its not working? none of my brake lights are on but it just locks up on ice. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like your ABS module is completely shot or all the ABS sensors on your vehicle were DOA. If you're really worried about it, replace the module under the hood from a donor Durango with the exact same setup as yours (ie. 2 wheel ABS with 2 wheel ABS; 4 wheel ABS with 4 wheel ABS).

If that doesn't do anything you will have to replace the ABS sensors. More than likely since neither the Brake light or ABS light are on, it's the complete module. Check to make sure it's plugged in first of all though.

It's up against the firewall behind the battery. Can't miss it because it's got a bunch of wires coming from it.

Yep, keep in mind a junkyard is going to be the absolute best place to get that module. Anywhere else you might as well just eat your money because it will go farther than buying it from a dealership.
