widow, you noticed a decrease in gas mileage, but look at all the other power build work you put in at the same time as the locker . . .

Yes but it started with just the rear-end before the rest of the build and there was supposedly a decrease in MPGs with the locker and the 4.56 gearing but didn't notice much decrease.

Like I said it should have been a decrease more than it was but wasn't.

You are not going to see a decrease in fuel mileage with a Detroit Locker/Aussie locker, it acts like a open until the other side slips.

im toying with the idea of trying to swap out the front axles and differential from a '00 durango to mine... would that work? cause i have a friend with a '00 durango and the front is locked...

I have no idea if they can bolt in to tell you the truth, at least carrier to housing. They are different housings and carriers so I would say no, however I bet you could swap the entire housing (including the carrier) over and it would bolt in. Now the 2003 Durango I know has different ball joints and knuckles.
