It just clips in. Pull. But you gotta be careful, if you're not you'll crack the glass.

They pop in there.. (ive replaced mine twice) you gotta give it an awkward pull but it will come out.. when you reinstall it, use a small book or something to press it back in.. It can be hard to get all the clips on the back to engage but you don't want it to fall out after a few blocks either.

If they're heated mirrors check the resistance of the two tabs on the back.. if its a huge number replace the mirror.. You can purchase the heated mirror glass but its a dealer only part.. 30-50 bucks depending on the dealer.. ask me if you've still got questions..(i live on a skinny street and I've had the glass knocked out twice)

Yup. They aren't glued. I've had the glass out of a few sets of dumbos, the newer folding mirrors, and a set of the sport mirrors.

They are a pain in the *** to get back on, too.

fyi, all the folding tow mirrors (new or old) are referred to as dumbo ears.

I would like to see the actual fitting side of the mirror (how it attaches). Anyone have pictures?
