Default A/C & Temp Gauge is there a problem brewing

My 1999 Durango 5.9L 4x4, its loaded No aftermarket MOD's . I have been noticing that when my A/C is running in the non max posistion and in drive the Temperature gauge is below 210 deg, but when i am sitting in neutral the temperature rises just above 210 deg. Im not sure if this is a problem or not any advise would be great more info in need please let me know.

Not trying to be smart here, so don't take any offense. If your in drive, most likely the vehicle is moving forward therefore forcing more air through the radiator, thus keeping your temp down. Neutral, your sitting idling and relying solely on your radiator fan to pull the needed air through the radiator to keep everything cool. Its natural to a certain degree if your temp increases slightly when idling. I would be concerned with a large swing in engine temps between driving and idling.

It is not unusual for your temp to rise a bit while stopped at idle or in stop and go traffic. Keep an eye on it though.
