Yes sir MAGIC I have both the transmission pan and the differential cover. I do a lot of em, driving fast on the road, and I wanted it to dissipate heat as mug ad possible, especially with my new 4.56 gears in there. So far no worries with heat and all is well.

It also looks pretty cool from the rear end. Gives it that extra bit of heavy duty look.

Ok. Gonna drain it tomorrow. Does anyone know what specific type of fluid goes in an '02?

mobile 1 is the favorite brand around here, check your owners manual for the correct weight

Your '02 4.7 4WD shoud have 80W-90 (conventional), or 75W-90 (Fully Synthetic) if you have the tow package. Regardless I use Mobil One LS 75W-90 Fully Synthetic. If the rear is Limited Slip I put in the entire 7oz bottle of Friction Modifier from Auto Zone for $5.99.
