more 4x4 issues
2000 durango rt all time 4 wheel drive. Problem is the front diff locks without putting it in 4 hi.. also when I use 4wd it wont unlock until i drive 50 or 60 miles then WHAM!!!!.. Any input would be great!!! Thanks in advance...

If it is Full Time 4x4, it is already in 4 wheel drive before you do anything.
Also, there is no limited slip on the front diff. Thus, if it is locking up at all, it is trashed. Get it serviced.
