I've also tried the Nology wires and honestly they perform the exact same as MSD 8.5mm wires. What they state on their website is 100% bogus simply because there's no way of increasing the spark without the use of an ignition control such as the MSD 6 or 7. Simply increasing the wires does increase the spark a little bit but not so much that it has a huge spark that blinds you (by the picture they state on their website).

 

I will agree with that statement, however I have personally never tried Nology, but then again what does about 80% of race cars use? Answer is MSD!

MSD stands by their products and always have, not to mention they have never left me on the side of the road like other brands have! All I use is MSD 8.5mm Red wires whenever I replace them and they last.

 

Nology may well be great, but untill they can back up there claims with hard scientific data, then much like the "magical" audio wires people spend $$$s on, its snake oil, if they are so good and want to stand by their products as the best, then they ought to have them tested and verified by an independant body, and post the findings on their website. And at these prices for a wireset I dont think thats too much to ask, imho.
