Default Heater Eating Connectors

My 2002 Durango SXT has been"Melting Heater Resistor Connectors " like candy.
I have replaced 3 in 6 months. They are getting very difficult to find. Is this being caused by an electrical problem or is the blower fan bearing shot. Please advise since I am stumped on this one. Thanks

i would replace the blower if you are melting that many that fast then something is pulling too much power thru them and that fan is the only thing that pulls power through there.

I would also go to the dealer and get the new upgraded harness as they are heavy duty to help the contacts.
