I just used an old tooth brush and some baking soda water, if needed a scratch pad. But terminal brushes make it so much easier

DH = Dear Husband

Thanks to all for the advice. I will be cleaning my battery posts/terminals/whatever they're called...do I have to disconnect them to do that?

Also, I will go ahead and have the crankshaft sensor replaced and hope that cures it.

I'll let you know how it goes, hopefully the sensor part can happen soon, it's now to the point where it dies almost everyday when I exit the freeway...yikes!

yes you take the battery cables off and the brush should be 2 pieces, one for the battery terminal and one for the cable clamp

baking soda mixed with water solution is never a bad idea to add either as it will neutralize any battery acid in that area.
