Umm... 98-00 from the factory never got heated seats, let alone heated seat switches. Not really sure what you're talking about.

When I switched to the graphite R/T interior I cut the switches closer together, which made it a little easier to see the right switch with a cup in the cupholder.

Up north here lots of 2000+ durangos have heated seats it is usually in the slt, slt+, r/t. I have never seen any without leather that had them. I have after market ones which aren't hard to install.
honestly, id give up my heated seats in an instant if i could have cloth seats in the truck LEATHER SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!, its sticky in the summer, cold in the winter, and takes extra effort to take care of it or else it cracks and looks really bad IMO. (anyone got 3 rows of tan cloth seats??)
also heated seats were NOT available with cloth seats

I like my leather cause it is so much easier to clean in my opinion, that and cloth absorbs so much dust it never comes out (why do think work truck are vinyl with spray-able floors). I should add most people never expose there trucks to this, I do.
Id kill for some cloth seats...My leather is faded, cracked, and on the drivers seat ripped in two different places!
I dont like leather because of the hassle, I normally just put those water proof neopreme(sp) covers on them and call it good, look great-clean easy-what else could you want?

Yeah most D's around here a cloth, I think that has to do with winter and the fact that most of the early D's don't have heated seats for leather unless aftermarket ones were installed, like mine. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong about this.
