I am new to the forum. I recently purhased my first D. She's a 2003 Durango 2WD that was owned by a law enforcement agency. She has been extremely well maintained for her 163KM. I notice that the e-fan runs from the time I start her up until I shut her off. Is this because she has some special cooling system installed or is there a problem? Thanks!

 

Even with an electric replacement setup, it should not run 24/7. The relay is probably bad.

It should only run when she's hot or the A/C is on.

 

I checked it again coming home this evening and all seems ok. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks all for your help!
