Pusher fan in front of condenser...?
What I was saying is the main clutch fan is different on the 1998-1999 then the 2000-2003 as well as moving the radiator.
Now that is is because of 2 things, when they changed over to the newer style in 2000+ they removed the transmission cooler from between the condenser and radiator. From my understanding the radiator was then shimmed in toward the condenser leaving more room for an electric fan and a smaller shanked drive fan was also included to add even more space. Then the electric fan was then put in place to suck up the space now there. They then put the trans cooler on the front of the condenser on the 2000+.
In the 1998-1999 there was only about 1 inch between the clutch face and the radiator. There is absolutely NO WAY it could fit in the 1998-1999 between the fan and radiator using the OEM set up, trust me I tried!
