I've got a few left over myself from the "original" beach campout in '90. Fun times!

If you can find a way to travel to some of the "civilized" areas over there (Dubai, Jabel-Ali, Bahrain, etc.) do it. Beautiful areas, some really amazing things to see. Shame that it's all eff'd up with politics.

Come home safe....

It was just a tad bit more damage than I initially thought

Oooh.... carnage!!!

Transfer case is toast (obviously!), check out your driveshaft / yoke / differential as well. Tough to tell if the case let go and caused the driveshaft to pop, or if the driveshaft let go and cranked the case. Transfer case should have been full of fluid, did it come out or was it possibly low / dry causing the case to let go?

ouch man, that is bad, i second what has been said above since the picture was posted.

the first thing I would do personally, is to find an AWD D wrecked in a scrap yard, pull the t-case and have it rebuilt (so you know what you are working with) and install that. As said above check to make sure you dont have any other damage to the driveshafts or transmission
