Default here goes .... o2 sensor question

Yes, I know it might be a tad be lazy and I'm sure I'll hear about it but how many 02 sensors does the '01 durango with the 360 have. Yes ..... I'm getting a shop manual this week and yes I am more than comfortable turning a wrench, I was just wondering is all because my scan tool tells me that the #2 o2 sensor is bad and from the online parts rags, it appears there are 4 sensors ..... if it does have 4 sensors, which would be the #2. Thanks in advance.

It should have 2, 1 before the cat and 1 after the cat.

The one(s) before the cat are sometimes call pre-cat or upstream. The one(s) after are post-cat or downstream. Unhook the wire first. Grab that special socket, it helps. You may also want to use some penetrating oil if rusted. I just love KROIL as opposed to PB Blaster. If you round the sensor it will be a real PITA. Good Luck.

Iirc, the 4.7's have 4. The 360 is a 5.9L which only has 2.
What code did you actually get (Pxxxx)?

They all depend on where they are built and years.

Most 5.9L and 5.2L motors have 2 upstream before the exhaust Y, and 1 downstream after the CAT. You will have to get under there and look.

I just bought 2 for my truck (that's what it uses) from www.rockauto.com for $61.50 delivered. I bought Denso as they are the factory O2 sensors.
