Rear coolant hose line broke. Suggestions?
2001 Durango R/T
I'm uncertain of any technical names, but I attached a photo to show what I mean. The rear line that carries coolant to work with the rear heater/AC unit has a bad slash in the rubber connector. Does anyone know if this hose clamp or fitting comes off in which to replace to hose? Someone suggested it might simply screw off, but that doesn't seem likely (too easy).
In case you're wondering, this line is behind the rear passenger side wheel and in front of the rear bumper. I'd like to know if it's an easy fix or if it involves something only a dealership should mess with. Any help would be appreciated.

That is a crimped fitting. You need to replace the entire hose. The new one will have that same crimped connection already in place. Go to the dealer and order over the counter while looking at the exploded-view part number illustrations they have to aid in ordering from.
