key stuck in ignition, engine running
2000 durango, 5.9, rwd.
key is locked in the "run" position and can't be turned to "off" even with car in park. the key CAN be turned to START... please don't ask how i know this :| Even tho car is running, most of the electrical systems are off: power windows/door-locks/stereo/ac etc... ABS and AIRBAG lights on. gages seem to be reading correctly. keyfob lock/unlock buttons working. auto transmission not shifting correctly.
dealer says <expensive> key cylinder assembly replacement will fix. i was hoping for just a fuse...
