brake problems HELP
Ok first off thanks for the good read, but my issue is a little odd.
The details:
2000 Durango
5.9l
126k miles
The ABS and Brake lights came on tonight. After reading this thread I replaced the rear Speedo sensor and the dummy lights turned off, but the Speedo stopped working under 30mph and it developed a tremor/stutter in the brake peddle when coming to a stop.
I put the old sensor back in and the dummy lights get triggered at 10-12mph but the braking is a 100% normal. Returned the "new" sensor and will pick up another one tomorrow.
Do think that I just ran in to a bad replacement? Or that dummy lights were triggered by a bad sensor and the issues are coming to light to exspose the front sensor(S) or other issues.
Any input appreciated.
