I use a Prodigy® P2 Proportional Brake Controller by Tekonsha and I love it. Fully adjustable to the trailer and the load. Now I think there is a P3 version out now that is supposed to be even better, but when I got my P2 version it was one of the best out there and again I am very happy with it. It ran around $100 bucks and like $10 bucks for the adapter to the OEM blue harness up behind the E-brake. It’s a simple plug and play for power and the hole shebang.

I have not used any others but I really like how my Tekonsha PRIMUS IQ performs... I would recommend it!
