Default Bad TPS?

Alright so here is my problem: sometimes not all the time when i go to take off the throttle is really touchy and other times when i take off it seems like i really have to sink my foot in it to feel the 5.9's torque. Has anybody else had this problem? The first thing i thought of was the TPS. Not sure why but it seems like maybe it could have part in this problem? Thank you all.

It could, but my would be O2 sensors that are going bad.

Do you have access to a scan tool with live readout, or after market gauge display like scan guage so you can monitor your tps percentage to see if that is it?

No i don't unfortunetly. I'm going to be doing a complete ignition tune-up here shortly sense the plug wires look like they're originals. Hopefully that will help.

It probably will, check out your distributor too and see how the contacts are.

My 5.9 has more power some days than others too. I attribute mine to the ambient surroundings. For instance, I have a lot better throttle response on cold mornings than hot afternoons. It has to do with air density. The best place to start is with a home brew CAI.
