[03 Durango] Replaced Car Battery and Keyless Entry Stopped Working
Hi guys, loving the site. I've been reading through it for the last couple hours and I've found some great info.
Anyway, after reading through some threads on programming FOBs and many others, I've been unable to find a solution to my problem. So, the battery in my 03 Durango finally died after 7 years and 76k miles. I replaced it and everything works great, except for the rear windows, which haven't worked in a while, and my keyless entry, which had been working fine before the battery change. I've replaced the batteries in the FOB, and I've attempted to reprogram it, but can never get the chime that the owner's manual talks about. Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be? Any advice or feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

if your keys got de-programmed you need to take it to the dealer in order to reprogram them.
the only way to program a new one in yourself is in the case where you already have one working fob, otherwise you are SOL

Could have been a glitch with the battery and that caused the CTM to loose the number. If you don't have at least 1 key FOB that works programed you have to take the truck to the dealer to have all of your FOB's re-programmed. Don't forget all of them!
