Default Audio inline RCA Adapter

I purchased a wire adapter so I could run RCA's from the back of the stereo. I wanna know what wires I should tap into, or if theres a better way other than swapping stereo's? I wanna run a sub and I like the stock stereo. Now, do you think This will sound just as good? I bought one that has adjustable sound control for each RCA. I want it to sound really good, but Im not entering any competitions. Am I gonna be able to have good sound out of my stock speakers AND have good low bass from the sub doing it this way? Or should I just go aftermarket head unit? I mean, I really like that the stocker tells me Radio station info and I guess thats the only thing that makes me wanna keep it. Not to mention in keeps it stock looking too.

Any comments/suggestions?

may not be the correct way to wire up but what i have done in the past is splice into the "rear" speaker wire for the inline RCA.

so cut off the left and right REAR speaker wires then connect inline RCA to the back side of the radio.
then the remaining speaker wire for the rear speaker that you cut off you would splice into the "front" wire

wire colors for front and rear are listed below.

quick search:

Left Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Dark Green
Left Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Brown/Red
Right Front Speaker Positive Wire (+): Brown/Yellow
Right Front Speaker Negative Wire (-): Brown/Light Blue

Left Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): White
Left Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Dark Blue/Red
Right Rear Speaker Positive Wire (+): Brown/White
Right Rear Speaker Negative Wire (-): Brown/Orange
