99 durango engine swap

I have a 99 Durango with the 5.9 in it. My motor blew and I was wondering if the 5.2 or the 4.7 with bolt right up to the tranny and everything else. I am having trouble finding another 5.9 plus I wouldn't mind going smaller with the engine.

the 5.2 and 5.9 should bolt right up to the same transmission and motor mounts, however i believe you also need to change the PCM if you change the engine in order to get the intended performance.

the 4.7 is completely different

The PCM will run but not at it's best. Now I don't know if you go 5.9L down to the smaller 5.2L but it's worth the try hands down.

4.7L is COMPLETELY different.
