hi
got great advice from everyone here so now i've got another issue with my 98 durango 5.9 4x4
the passenger rear door wont open from the inside or outside the lock button got pushed down into the door panel but i can hear the power accuator working locking and unlocking.
is there anyway to get the door open again?

Boy, now that one is going to be hard. You are most likely going to have to remove the rear seat to gain some kind of access to the door panel. You will have to remove the panel to gain access to it. You can try to figgure out how to get that button back up as well. Sounds like you broke the latch.

 

Remove all you can. pull the plastics away so you can get at the lock rod. Sounds like that has come loose.

+1. In the closed position this is going to be very difficult.
