Default I can't find a center cap!

On July 25 went to the dealer to order a new center cap because I am missing one. They charged me $45 and said it would 10-15 days. The target date was Aug 15. Today I went in and they said the new target date is Sept 25! I believe they have been unavailable for some time now. Maybe the supplier went belly up or something?
I've tried ebay and searching the web. The Mopar # is 52021948AA.
This is a large chrome center cap for the 2003-2003 R/T w/17X9 Chrome wheels. These cover the lug nuts.

Any idea where else to try?

DAMN 01DANGO4X4! I looked on their site and saw the silver one for up to 01 R/Ts and figured I could paint it bright silver for temporary. I called and the guy said he had just got a chrome one. He measured and described it and I believe it's a match! $35 and is shipping today.

I wonder if I should cancel the dealer order or just keep a spare?

Did you already pay for the one from the dealer? If not then i wouldn't worry about getting it. They will just ship it back to wherever they got it from if it's not picked up within a couple of weeks

Yeah I already paid. I worried because I think they have been hard to come by for so long. Most used placed didn't have them and zero on ebay. I think it is a supplier problem and the new Sept 25 estimate is like saying "give us another month to try to figure this out".

Well if you already payed for it i would go ahead and get them both since they're hard to come by.

That way he'll have a spare if he ever needs one again. This gets my vote.

I've found them on Ebay search for "Center Caps". I have found a set of 4 on there for like $30 bucks before.

I just did another ebay "Durango center cap" search. 4 pages of results, but only 3 R/T style and all were the older silver ones, not my chrome.
