Default 3rd Row Seat When not Originally Installed? Retro fit Heated Seats?

I have a 2001 Durango that does not have the third row seat. Is it possible to put a third row seat in? Not sure about trying to "retro fit" this.

Also would like to put in heated leather seats (has cloth non-heated seats). Is there a wiring connector for the heating element if the vehicle came with out heated seats? I know I would also need to replace the console as that has the seat heat switches installed in it.

Thanks in advance!

No heated seats in 2nd or 3rd row. You will need an aftermarket kit and wire it yourself.

Sorry I didn't make my question clear. Can I put in a third row seat if it didn't come with one?

Can I replace the driver and front passenger seats with heated seats-is the wiring connector there?
Thanks.

this is a tuff one because the third row of seats in recessed.. when you lower the second and third row you have a flat bed across the rear interior.. I'm going to have to go towards the side of no, you cant add a third row.. but this is mostly a guess..

I would have to see what one without a third row looks like. can you post pick of the cargo area? I dont see Dodge making two different floor pans in the rear. I bet there is a panel covering the area for the third row seats

This is what I was thinking (hoping) was the case. Currently there are two panels that expose storage area when open. One in the rear by the tail gate and the other at the back of the second row of seats. I'm guessing you would have to remove the entire flooring area in the back and replace it with the third row seat and the floor area that goes with the seat.

I only have the panel by the gate. I am assuming where your the other panel is would be where the third row seat would bolt in

that is correct, if the third row seat was not included at the factory you got a second storage compartment, will it be a simple replacement to swap in the seats? i have no clue, but it SHOULD be possible.
