Default Weird ABS problem

My Durango has had this problem sense I got it but I think I finally figured out what it is. Every morning when I leave my driveway at 12 to 13 mph there is a vibration through the whole vehicle that sounds like the ABS is trying to kick in. It last only about a second and the really weird part is the lights dim when this happens. So whatever it is that's making this noise and vibration is taking a lot of juice. Yesterday I was driving in the rain and I slammed on the brakes to avoid rear ending some idiot who figured they'd be nice to an old couple trying to cross the road. The ABS did come on but when I let off from the brakes it made like a groan or deep pitched screach for about a second. I'm just guessing that maybe the ABS module needs to be replaced? Unless somebody else thinks they know why is doing this. There is no BRAKE or ABS lights on in the gauge cluster. Thank's to all for your advice.
