I had to haul something today that required me to click my tailgate latch over to make a loop so I could tie my tailgate down. How to do I put it back to its original position? I wouldnt automatically go back using the power lock or the handle. I am missing my manual. Help!

 

try putting a screwdriver in the latch, like you did when you tied it down, and then try to pull it out, as if you were opening the gate while closed, while you are holding the handle in the open position
