Ok well I might have installed the TPS wrong so I will reinstall it. Is there a way to make sure you have installed the TPS correctly?

not that i know of, my guess would be you got a bad sensor out of the box which is why i suggested taking it back to the store and getting an exchange.

If you put your fingers on the back of the iac plug, with the engine running, and then with your other hand bump the throttle, as the rpms return to idle you can feel a tapping from the solenoid. it's distinct from other engine vibrations. The valve is very sensitive and can't reposition itself if it has been moved a significant amount, you can try helping it by very slightly pushing it open a little more--stressing very slightly. I have done this on mine after I accidentally moved it after cleaning it. I'm still running the factory iac since 2001, runs and idles great.

Ok well i checked my IAC valve and it is working. I just cleaned my throttle body this weekend and now i am getting the my check engine light is on. The code is P0443. The car is idling better since i cleaned the throttle body but i will still have a sudden drop in rpm at a stop light randomly, doesn't happen all the time. I will be replacing my spark plug wires and cap and rotor

P0443 Evap Purge Solenoid Circ
it could be as simple as a cracked vacuum hose or you could need to replace the solenoid, take a look at the hoses underneath the truck going to the charcoal canister.
