ok well lets start easy

for the misfires you already replaced the plugs, i hope you used the cheapo champion COPPER CORE plugs, gapped to .040, you need to put new wires, cap and rotor on there, brass contacts in the cap and rotor, and 8mm or better wires, this will most likely take care of your misfire problem

the crank/cam sensor should be replaced to correct the problem with that code (i believe it is located under the distributor and is also known as a pick up sensor)

for using oil there is a simple check for plenum gasket, take the air hat off and open the butterfly valve, shine a light down there and see if it looks oily, if there is oil pooled down there that is your oil consumption problem, replace with a hughes brand plenum plate (it will outlast your engine if you do it right, otherwise you will be replacing it again in the future)

crankshaft sensor mopar part # 56027870

There’s a lot going on there. Aside from still having power sometimes, it almost sounds like some of what happens when a loose/ stretched out timing chain skips or breaks a couple teeth. I’d do a compression check. As far as the associated oil consumption goes; if the valve timing is so far off (probably wouldn’t run at all) that the intake and exhaust are both closed when the piston is on a downward stroke, creating a vacuum, it can suck oil up past the rings. I am more familiar with the mechanical side of things so as far as knowing the exact symptoms the sensors can throw out is -?

try changing the crank position sensor (CKP). It tells the PCM when and which cylinder is at/near (depending on timing advance) to TDC on the compression stoke, so that it can fire. If the sensor is bad it could be firing at the wrong time causing the backfiring and misfires. Its not too difficult to replace. there is a notch in near the top of the bell housing where the sensor goes in to read the holes in the flexplate (its a magnetic pickup sensor). There are two bolts holding it to the block.

any chain auto store should have 8mm wires, if they dont have them in stock they should at least be able to get them, if not then try this http://www.msdignition.com/product.aspx?id=6149

or you could check rockauto or amazon, however that shouldnt be necessary (also this is not a place to cheap out on)
