Heater Core Removal
Hello,
I am in the process of replacing a heater core on my 2001 Durango 4.7L 4x4.
I have the dash completely unbolted, steering column on the seat, all miscellaneous panels off, and passenger airbag out. I am struggling to see how the dash cap comes off. I have all the screws taken out along the front, but am weary of prying the top of the dash off to pop loose some holding pins before I know for sure that's what is holding it in. The dash will lift up in the front, but seems very well secured on the back near the glass. Any tips would be appreciated ...
Thanks!
Joe

It is attached... engine compartment side.
And the top of the dash doesn't come off. It is all one part that you pull back and down out of the way.
I suggest you look at any one of the 100 threads on the same topic here. Otherwise, you will be pulling the dash out again sooner rather than later and you don't want to do that.
