So, Dodge Durango, 2000, with the big-girl 5.9L--CEL came on today after I had a hard time starting it--turned about 7-8 times before it caught. Then, after driving it a block it died--same process the second time. Got it home, one on the brake, one on the gas. Let it sit, drove it about 3 miles, got home, CEL. Read all the posts and instructions on getting the code, but it is only giving me "CHEC"...and no code like the guys received. Is that code for "just give up?"--or do I need to take it to the place you suggested? Can they try and get a code for me there, or do I just call there if I have a code? Never been to AutoZone.
