oh ok lol, well, interesting, I just bought 6 quarts of Tranny fluid and I am only changing filter tomorrow, guess I can take back the other 5 quarts lol! Of course I was going off of an estimate of 10 quart fill 40-50% being in pan when you drop it. Forgot where I read it. I have the PDF done. Take a look, I will probably be doing a couple others. I have the complete Torque Specifications for the Transmission in my possesion, might do one for that, not everyone has access to the dealer connect, So I am going to try to give as much information as I can. Maybe I will do a complete fluid flush by popping off the cooler line off the radiator and doing the exchange, but, probably not lol. I changed the fluid capacities attachment to the Specification PDF I just made for the 5.2L

the 4.7l takes 6 qts and the 5.2 and 5.9 both take the same (4-5) the 3.9 is also the same as these two, our old truck with any of those engines never took the full 5 qts to fill it to full even with the filter it ended up being more like 4.5

I can do a similar thing for all years/generations. I am adding more to that file, like a bsic list of sensors that are good to know where they are, and as many torque specs for as much as I can. I have the Torque specs for all parts inside the tranny. Using it to tighten my bands tomorrow.

Nice job Turbo. I saved the file to my Hard Drive :)

I will try to get the 4.7 and 5.9 and do the same thing once I completely finish this one, that way hydra can put all 3 in the sticky if he wants.
