4x4 cause diffs to lock?
So i'm debating with a guy on youtube =/ about the diffs on durangos. he claims to me that he knows for a fact that durangos that are 4x4 when switched into 4wd then also engage a solenoid that locks the rear
"yes I know what a locking diff is. Anytime my durango spins in 4x4 both rear tires spin. There's a solenoid in the diff that locks the sides together and it sounds like the mechanism is malfunctioning in yours"

thats what he said to me. because i said its not factory to come with an lsd or locker. I told him it was an upgradeable option to get a limited slip but i dont think most did.
thanks for the future answers guys.

Yeah i was just curious. seemed really farfetched what he was saying. idk I'm not gonna keep arguing with the guy if he doesn't want to listen. he seems bent on believing 4wd means the rear and front automatically lock making a durango "a true 4x4 truck"
thanks for clearing it up guys. now i can say i'm certain lol
