Default Tamper Alert alarm going off

Hi, is there any way to stop the tamper alert alarm from going off almost every time i unlock my durango with the remote or key. It makes 3 horn beeps when i unlock it after its been parked for at least a few hours. I Believe i have the factory installed alarm. I have a 2003 durango slt plus.

I’d also like to figure this one out. Mine does it about once a week or so and I have replaced the battery in the fob. It usually does it when I use the key to open the door, but does on occasion when I use the fob. I have a ’01 SLT plus 5.9.

Try to reset the factory alarm, but if your alarm is not factory your guess is as good as mine: http://www.dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-...going-off.html
