Default Timing cover leak?

Experiencing a slow loss of coolant with my 2000 5.9. My water pump is only two years old but I figured that was the problem. After crawling underneath and looking around, it looks like coolant is not coming from the pump but from right around the coolant inlet area of the timing cover. I don't see any leaks from hoses or thermostat, it doesn't look like it is spraying from elsewhere.

Do the pictures look like a cover leak, or could something simpler be the cause of this?

It does look like a timing cover leak or it is dripping down from a higher source and creating the look of it.
