01 Infinity system missing speaker wire.
First post here. Have lurked on and off for a while. Nice place.
On to my question. Have the 2001 RT Durango. Had noticed the left rear door tweeter did not work. Got around to replacing the lower door speakers and noticed the tweeter was not hooked up. Looked and looked but no plug for it or wires. Looks like the wiring harness was made that way. The inner door was never drilled to accept the plug. Kind of surprised Dodge would send out a vehicle with a missing part.
The tweeter was in the door panel. I'm guessing it is 10 years old and never was used. Spliced off the lower door speaker and now it works.
Anyone ever hear of something like this?
