I did have a alignment done the day I chamged the tires around. There was some bad were on the front tires and since mine are new as of this summer I didn't take a chance.

Was also told it needed new shock ( They came in yesterday ) and it needs sway bar inlinks on the rear. I got the Procomp ES 9000 Nitrogen shocks. Should make a big difference on the back of the truck or SUV

Did the same thing on mine, changed to Pro Comp 3000. Right shock was done. Note the engine is 2 inches more to passenger side. Check rotors for warpage or like mine the caliper bolts striped out, if that doesn't work.

Jack the front end up and secure both sides VIA the frame. Lock the steering wheel and make sure the key is out so you can't turn the wheels by hand. Grab the wheel and push it in and out on each side. If there is play here, check your tie rods. Now take the wheel and try and move it up and down. If there is play this way, then it is Ball joint. Try to start with this small stuff before you go all out on all that other stuff. Most of the times any vibration like this is caused by the Ball Joints or Tie Rods.

and pretty much all of the computer
No, the PCM's changed only on the 4.7L, not the 5.9L and 5.2L motor.

Anyway they added an electric fan, re-did the entire front end including bumper and fan shroud, went to an electric 4X4 shifter, and re-did the interior including dash.

No the CTM is under the dash center in the 1998-1999, and was later moved to the passenger side kick panel in 2000 when the re-did the interior.

Now you could be referring to the TCCM, (Transfer Case Control Module) which was only incorporated in the 2003 PCM on the 4.7L engine from my understanding, not the 2003 5.9L engine, but from 2000-2002 was a separate "Blue" module that was under the dash on just the passenger side of the steering column for all motors with electronic transfer case shifters. (Again this only includes electric shifting transfer cases). I think they left the TCCM under the dash on the 5.9L in 2003.

Now 1998-1999, and some 2000's, had the manual sifter that does not have a TCC because they are manual, so as they are exempt from this. Sharps has more information on this then I do.

So to clear up any misunderstanding, the 5.9L in 2003 is the same JTEC style. And the 4.7L changed 3 times starting with a JTEC Power Train Control Module (PCM) in 2000 to early 2001 builds, switching to a 4 plug NGC (PCM) in late 2001-2002, and ending with a modified 4 plug NGC (PCM) in 2003 (also very early builds of 2003) to include the TCCM.

Now got that?

CTM was on the passenger side in 98-00 (not 100% on the location here) and isnt it in the DRIVERS SIDE kickpanel on the 01+ trucks??

all NGC trucks that i ahve seen have the TCM included in the PCM and have been very late my 2002 or 2003, 4 plugs = NGC and no tcm will be present if this is the case.
