Default Brown watery oil?

So today I took my valve covers off and found that there was water puddles up in the corner and the oil looked exactly like chocolate milk. Any idea what this could be? I'm hoping it's nothing major because ever since I bought the truck I feel like I've been doing nothin but work... Appreciate any help

Sounds like another case of condensation! Or possible coolant mixing with the oil, notice this anywhere else?(dipstick, filler neck, oil filler cap) How does the coolant look in the radiator?

Do you drive the truck on a lot of short trips?

if you don't notice it anywhere else, it is probably nothing!

I haven't noticed it anywhere else. The coolant just looks orange... Like coolant I guess lol. I'm hoping I don't have a leaky head gasket...Should I change the oil?

there should NOT be water puddles under the valve covers

got any pics? this does not sound normal, and my first gut reaction is headgasket(my first reaction is not always right)

definitely change the oil, has your coolant been going anywhere? is your crankcase overfull?

Unfortunately I cleaned the water out I didn't even think about taking a pic or I would've... Its 10pm where I live so first thing tommorow I'll check the oil. I just know there wasn't condensation on my dipstick when I looks today but I didnt even bother checking the lvl since I just changed it last week. I'll post an update ASAP tommorow to let you guys know. Fingers crossed its not a head gasket...

With no sign of it anywhere else, I am going bet it is not a headgasket, but I have been wrong before! Up in the thumb of MI gets really cold, those valve covers get hot and if he is taking short trips alot, then it could just be where the condensation has decided to hide..

just my $.02..but like I said, I have been wrong plenty of times

Well, no signs of it anywhere else.... I only drive the truck a few times a week and they are usually short trips. It does get cold here( But yesterday it was 51degrees! Almost unheard of this time of year) so maybe its just condensation....It still makes me nervous but I guess I'll keep checking every other week and see whats going on...I'll probably change the oil to just for peace of mind.

definitely change the oil, if your coolant in the overflow tank isnt going down idk what would be causing this.(maybe condensation, however that would mean to me tha tyou have a bad PCV valve)
