'00 Durango revving while idle
Wanted to say thanks for all the help...reset the PCM and everything seems to be good. I appreciate the info.
Now, time to turn my attention to the rear wheel speed sensor so I can get my ABS and E-break lights to go out. Speedo not working below about 20 mph, either, so I'm guessing this sensor is the culprit. Probably shoulda swapped it out at the same time I did the output speed sensor. Pretty common for these things to go out at around the same time?

yes its a good idea to replace those two speed sensors together
i dont have a diagram, but the RWSS is on the top of the rear differential, its the only thing up there with wires going to it, its held on by a bolt and nut, be careful not to break the old one off removing it or make sure you have an extra vehicle available(or buy 2 qts of gear oil in advance) just in case you do break the old one off during removal

Yes they like to go out at the same time because they are on the same circuit. If you get a power spike or something from one it takes out the other. Get under it and replace the rear wheel ABS speed sensor on the top of the differential. www.dodgeforum.com/forum/1st-gen-durango/221018-rear-axel-speed-sensor-rear-abs-sensor-diy.html
