Default Stripped axle shaft spline

I have spent frustrating hours online trying to locate a new left side front axle shaft for my 2003 4.7. At least that is what it is called in the field manual. I have heard it called by many other names online, but I am talking about the shaft which comes out of the drivers side of the diff and has the splines and the groove. I have exhausted every resource in trying to find that part and no one has it or even mentions it. If you go to the official mopar site, or some of the other big mopar dealers, they don't even show the right parts. They show the ones with the flange. Does this part exist, apart from in a junkyard?

idk the answer to your question, but you will never know if anyone else does because of where you posted, if you had simply read the rules thread (linked above) in the top of this forum you would probably have had an answer already.

ill move this the 1st generation section for you this time.

Sounds like you are talking about the CV Half Shaft, also known as the CV axle shaft, and CV Driveshaft. You can buy them at many retailers including your local NAPA. There is a difference between the left and right side as one is shorter in total length then the other. I think the drivers side is shorter.

I've replaced both of mine and personally found NAPA to be the cheapest. Can't remember what I paid off the top of my head but after getting the core back from the old one it was about $55. It's pretty simple to replace assuming you don't have any rust.
