Stuck in a dilemma on trading in (you have to read this!. May be important someday!
"WOW", Here I Thought I could drop in a big block in a 20 year old truck and be good with NV but noooooo, if I had it in Ca I would be fine. The whole new generation of computers is confusing as hell. Footnote: go watch original 70's Gone in 60 Seconds and see how it was done then. Mileage was never an issue on 1962 c-10 they just assumed it was always wrong.lol

Back in though days most people put a few miles on it then disconnected the odometer till it was due for inspection.
I would sell your Durango outright, you will get more and place that on the truck you buy.
Just don't tell them you have no cash down, and you wish to finance your new truck solely through your bank, and even tho the dealership uses your bank, you are going to do the foot work. Also tell them the bank only goes by NADA blue book and not Kelly blue book. Get this in writing and leave and take this to your bank. Now thy are not going to want you to leave! But do it anyway! This will save you about 2-3k bucks. Then after you have the price down in writing and the bank says it is in fact at NADA blue book, then give the cash to YOUR bank to have them reduce your loan, and have the bank write out the check for the full amount to the dealer.
Trust me, this will save you THOUSANDS$$$$$!
