Default Middle Row Seat Removal

Hello all! I've searched through the forums here but can't seem to find what I am looking for. My question is this - how do you remove the middle row bench seat from a 1st gen (2002) Durango? Does it have to be done from underneath the vehicle? Any advice would be fantastic, thank you!

No it does not have to be done from underneath. It is quite easy, a helping hand is nice when you go to lift them out, but can be done with one person. I had mine out when I did my audio system.

Yup. All bolts are easily accessible inside the truck. Fold the middle seats forward, and you should see the bolts you need to remove. If I remember correctly it was either a 16 or 18 metric socket.

I'm debating on doing that this summer on mine, I'll probably end up just taking it in to get detailed though. My carpet cleaner is a big thing, I call it a rolling coffee table. lol

If I do it or if I have a car wash do it, It'll come out spotless. I'll have to get a set of weatherteh mats for it. I don't have to worry as much about the seats this time around though.
