I just put a set of monroe sensa-tracs on. (they were my christmas present) All I ever tow is a 5x8 trailer with a quad on it and so far I'm very happy with them.

honestly the sens-a-tracs are the oem level shocks from monroe, the better ones are the reflex lineup

If that's the case and mind you I'm not arguing with you, do you know of someplace where I can read that information?
That way I can get my story straight and not give out anymore miss information.

Thanks Shrpshtr.

this is the way it was explained to us at the auto store last time we put shocks on my dads truck.

the pricetag 'says' the same thing if you check the prices (i know the $5-6 price difference isnt much)

Well I sure wish Monroe would make that clear on their website.

Thanks,

Rockauto.com does a good job differentiating shocks performance.

just look up your vehicle and when shocks come up they have them listed as

Economy
Original Ride quality
Increased handling/performance
Heavy Duty/Load Assist

Take your pick from there.

yeah, the sensa-trac ones are oem quality, which is fine for me right now as I can't afford nearly $90 a shock for ranchos or something like that. Anything would have been better than the ones that were on it (blistens I believe) as all 4 of them were leaking thus I basically had no shocks. And once again they were a present so I ain't complaining
