I have a 99 Durango SLT with a 5.2L and 2WD.

I would like to replace some plastic parts like the upper seal that goes along the top of the radiator (part #52028735AA).

The part is discontinued according to dodgeparts.com and a few others.

Any recommendations on where to find discontinued parts for a Durango?

 

Could be wrong but, if its discontinued i think you only option is a junkyard.

 

Or if you get really really lucky a dealer has one collecting dust on a shelve............

 

Never shopped for parts from junk yard before. Offhand, did not get anywhere with online searches (was hoping I could order via a few clicks).

Went back to the Dodge dealer and they called a vintage parts shop that had the seal in stock.

 

You could always make one yourself. Besides, I think that seal on that year is just rubber.
