I just got a 2000 Dodge Durango and have done work on it to get it running right. It stalled on me and I was thinking about changing the fuel filter and cleaning the throttle body, I have some filters here. When I went to find out what fuel filter it uses, I could not find anything. I haven't done an inspection of the fuel lines yet, but does a 2000 Dodge Durango have a fuel filter, and could I get a head up where it is? It is a 4.7L SLT 4x4

 

the fuel filter is part of the fuel pump on these trucks. In order to change the fuel filter you must drop the tank and replace the entire pump.

however this is not a standard replacement parts on these trucks, the filter is considered to be a 'lifetime' part.(as in it has the same lifetime as the fuel pump)
